I'm picturing the video of your dad and his new cat this past year. It made me smile to see the happiness he got from his new companion.
Amy and Maureen you took such good care of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Ahhh, the last of the "greatest generation" of Cahill's. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of Uncle Mart's family. It was good that we were able to see him last fall, albeit it was at the funeral for Uncle Terry. As I think of the relationship with Uncle Mart over the years, I do not weep because it is over, I rejoice because it happened.

I never met Mr. Cahill but I do know his daughters and it seems to me the joy and humor (and stubbornness) written so many times about him clearly lives on!

Amy, Meem and Brian. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your Dad. What a great sense of humor. Will never forget all the time spent when we were growing up together. I'm sure he is happy again with your beautiful Mom. It's so tough to lose a parent ...... memories help in so many ways. Warmest regards.
