Dale Evans, 58, of Libby, MT, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025, at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center. He was born in Hardin County of Texas on June 9, 1967, and was later adopted by Robert and Martha Evans in Colorado. He would spend the rest of his childhood there until he moved to Whitehall, MT in 1984 where he would then meet and marry Lori Weyer; they had two beautiful children, Diana and Brian Evans. They later separated; he would then spend a few years in Idaho where he found the passion of log working. He finally moved to where his heart laid which was Libby, MT, he resided there till his death.

He enjoyed being in the mountains in solitary but also had many outdoor experiences with his close dear friends Buzz and Heather Hostetter. They used to hunt every year and Dale would work on their ranch which was his favorite memory through the years. He would cut out animal scenes that were on steel plates with his plasma cutter with Heather; they would sell them and split the money after that they were all friends for life. Dale also had a passion for log working and gold prospecting.

He is survived by his parents Robert and Martha Evans; his children Diana Evans, Brian (Kayla) Evans; brothers Brian Evans, Mark Evans, Raymond Evans and Glenn Evans; sisters Terri Evans, Cassandra Evans and Mina Evans. Also, his dear close friends Buzz and Heather Hostetter.

He is preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth Evans and Jay R Evans.
