Martin Oberleitner Obituary
Martin Birk Oberleitner, 69, of Moultrie, passed away, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at his home.
Born on November 10, 1952, in Erie, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charles Oberleitner and Harriett Birk Oberleitner. Mr. Oberleitner was a sales and finance manager at several car dealerships over the years. He played golf for many years and loved the relationship he had with his golf buddies. He was of the Catholic Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vanessa Oberleitner.
Mr. Oberleitner is survived by his wife, Sherie Leigh Alligood Oberleitner of Moultrie; children, Jonathan Mercer of Camilla, and Jennifer Hancock and husband Jeremy of Montgomery, Alabama; brothers, Chuck Oberleitner and spouse Jon of Hamilton, Ontario, and George Oberleitner and wife Teri of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren, Blake Mercer, Lynnlee Mercer, Macyn Mercer all of Pelham, Cody Hancock, and Kaleigh Hancock of Montgomery, Alabama; and his fur babies, P.J. and Laila.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
