It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, grandfather Martin Willis Jr, who left us on 8/27/2024 at the age of 79. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
Martin is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbra Willis of 26 years. Their love for one another was never wavering. He is survived by his children: Beverly Willis, Stacy Turner, Amy Turner, and grandchildren Kandyce Vega, Kelci Merino, Keaton Merino and Ella Turner.
He was born in Junction TX on 10/13/1944.
Martin retired from TXDOT after 30 years of service. His love, humor, advice, kindness will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
A Memorial Service honoring Martin Willis, Jr. will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the Marrs-Jones-Newby Funeral Home Chapel in Bastrop Texas.
