Martina Parra

Martina Parra, age 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home in Romeoville, surrounded by her loving family. She loved gardening, crocheting, cooking, watching soap operas, thrifting, doing puzzles, coloring, and traveling. Her family and her faith were the most important things in her life. She was a devoted wife, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and mother. Martina is survived by her devoted husband, Martin Parra; her beloved children, Osahin (Laura Tovar) Parra, Karla (Pablo Delgado) Parra, Martin (Dania) Parra, Vanely Parra, Marvin (Edith Martinez) Parra, Michelle Parra, Yetzabel Parra, and Jared Parra; her treasured grandchildren, Briseida, Valentina, Zaid, Adelany, Camila, Abigail, Martin, Derek, Joan, Monserrat, and Azariah; and her dear parents, Avelino and María Luisa Guerrero.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 3-8pm at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr, Romeoville IL 60446. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, 10am at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville IL 60446. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville IL.
