MARTRAL KENTROAN HUNTER, affectionately known as "Chocolate," departed from this world on December 20, 2025, in his beloved hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on February 15, 1976, Martral's life was a tapestry woven with laughter, love, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends.

From an early age, Martral showcased a vibrant personality; he was funny, kind-hearted, and perpetually helpful to those around him. His spirit radiated warmth and joy, reflecting his deep love for the Lord and his enjoyment of life's simple pleasures. Martral's laughter was infectious, and he had a unique talent for making others feel happy, often bringing smiles to faces that needed them the most. It is said that he possessed an innate ability to connect with people, embodying a true essence of family-oriented values.

Martral was passionate about many things. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he spent countless weekends cheering on his team, reveling in the thrill of football. His talents extended beyond the gridiron; Martral excelled at turning flips, swimming, cooking, and grilling mouth-watering ribs that delighted family gatherings. Music enriched his life, providing the soundtrack to his joyful moments and cherished memories.

Family was the cornerstone of Martral's life. He took immense pride in being a loving brother to his sister, Latonia, and to his two brothers, Marvin and Demon. His legacy lives on through his five adoring nieces—Rekeisha, Marquisha, Sirenity, Cupcake, and Muffin—and his seven nephews—Jamaine, Roderick (Tony), Tyler, Marvin Jr., Tyran, Tyrese, Dakalynn, and Ja'Kobe. Each of them will carry forward his spirit of kindness, humor, and love. He was not just an uncle; he was the favorite, a title earned through countless cherished moments spent together.

Martral is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mamie Hunter, as well as his uncles Milton and Bennie. Their absence leaves a void that can never be filled, yet Martral's enduring love and the legacy of laughter he leaves behind continue to resonate among his surviving family members and friends.

A series of services honoring Martral will take place at Golden Gate Funeral Home- Dallas , Viewing will begin on January 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Wake Service later that evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service to celebrate Martral's extraordinary life will occur on January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

As we reflect on the beautiful life of Martral Kentroan Hunter, we remember his capacity to love, his commitment to family, and the happiness he spread wherever he went. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him, an irreplaceable spirit who brought light and laughter into our lives.
