Marva Jean Strand

Marva Jean Strand, 90, died peacefully and courageously into the arms of Jesus on February 25, 2026, at her home. From a train depot in Illinois to a house on stilts in Trinidad, to cabins in the northwoods and home in White Bear Lake, she lived her life caring for others. Preceded in death by her husband and best friend Bob, parents Marvin Carter and Letha and Bill Troness. Survived by treasured daughters Bobbi (Mike) Belz and Tami (Ron) Hamilton, 7 very lucky grandchildren (Shannon, Mike, Nathalie, Jack, Shane, Danny and Samantha) and 12 great-grandchildren, her sisters Donna and Sharon, nieces and nephew, her sweet dog, Sophie, and many special relatives and friends. Celebration of Life Friday 3/6/2026 at North Star Community Church, 11640 Crooked Lake Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN 55433 at 11:00 am. Light lunch to follow service.
