Matthew 25:40 Marvel was kind to include me in her conversations during Art class at WHHS. As a Japanese American diaspora in Cincinnati, I felt like a spectator during my time at WHHS, but Marvel reached out to me and listened. I know the special person Marvel was, but more importantly, so does God. Ken Takeuchi '71.

I had the privilege to share the stage with Marvel just once, and what an experience it was! She always carried such a pure and graceful energy! My condolences to both the blood family, and the Cincinnati Arts Community!

Marvel was truly the "Class" of the WHHS Class of '71. And I always loved her name. It was so fitting. I remember her energy, vitality and that dazzling smile. She will be missed. My condolences to her family. I am grateful for the time I spent with her.

I'm really missing my sister Marvel. Marvel was a woman after God's heart. I worked with Marvel at Southern Baptist Church, in our Children's Ministry. Marvel was a great influence in my life, when it came to showing me how too live life and remain on the narrow path. She was the heartbeat of our Saturday morning Christian Education Class - Standing In The Gap USA. If you spent 5 minutes in her company, then you've experienced Love . Marvel has received her Well Done My Good And Faithful Servant, she's received her Crown of Righteousness and her ultimate reward was when she met our King Jesus face to face and she bowed at his feet. 71 years ago a star was born, and they named her Marvel Denise Gentry. Forever in my heart.

I was a classmate of Marvel's beginning at North Avondale Elementary and continuing through Walnut Hills High School. She was always a giant force and cherished friend. This is very sad news and my condolences are extended to her family. May her memory always be a blessing.
