Mr. Marvin Keith Fisher, age 94 of Heidrick, Kentucky departed this life of Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home. He was the husband of Colene (Disney) Fisher and the son of Earl and Belle (Mills) Fisher born to them on April 4, 1930 in Knox County.
Mr. Fisher served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Era. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He also loved taking walks and spent a lot of time walking around on his farm. Another favorite was sitting in the sun in his yard. He also enjoyed boating and swimming and riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Belle Fisher, a son, Gary Fisher, a grandchild, Patrick Fisher, three sisters, Geneva Hinkle, Shirley Campbell and Joyce Overbay, and three brothers, Randall Fisher, Morris Fisher, and Russell Fisher.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his loving wife Colene Fisher and his son and daughter-in-law, Alan & Barbara Fisher, and his granddaughter, Anita Fisher and one brother, Joe Fisher and wife Cleda, all of Heidrick. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Fisher will be conducted in the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Duke Hammons officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Fisher Cemetery in Barbourville, Kentucky with family serving as pallbearers.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators in Marvin's honor.
