Marvin Frymire

Marvin Homer Frymire, age 92, of Medford, Oregon, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025. Born on September 19, 1933, in Medford to Homer and Emma Frymire, Marvin's life was marked by steadfast faith, quiet integrity, and deep devotion to his family and friends.
A proud graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1951, Marvin later graduated from NW Commerce Business School in Portland. He married his beloved wife, Dorothy ("Dottie") Easton, in 1958. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage filled with love and partnership, making their home and many cherished memories in Medford.
Marvin enjoyed a successful career as a public accountant and controller in the lumber industry. Outside of his career, Marvin embraced the outdoors. He especially relished duck and deer hunting. As a talented builder and model airplane enthusiast, he spent hours constructing and flying these models. In 1971, Marvin earned his Private Pilot license, and took great joy in flying and recounting tales from the sky. He is remembered for the joy he found in his hobbies, his steady support for those he loved, and a mischievous grin that brightened many lives. He was a much loved son, husband, uncle and friend.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents Homer & Emma, and his infant sister, Fern. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dottie, nephews and their spouses, great-nieces and great-nephews and an extended family of relatives and friends who will forever hold his memory dear.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend. For those unable to join us, please honor Marvin's memory with a smile or story shared in his name. He lived a full life, rich in kindness and contentment, and finished his earthly journey well.
