Marvin Shane Launius

Marvin Shane Launius, age 43, of Caddo Valley, died Saturday, July 6, 2024 at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was born December 5, 1980 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Shane was a graduate of Camden Harmony Grove High School and SAU Tech in East Camden. He was co-owner of Caldwell Electric and a PLC programmer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. Shane was a very kind and caring family man; always thinking of his family and friends.
Shane is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Norman Launius; and grandparents, Ernest and Zelta Norman. He is survived by his father, Damon Launius of Camden; two sons, Keegan Launius and Johnie Launius of Okolona; one daughter, Katlyn Launius of Okolona; one brother, Jeremy (Kacey) Launius of Camden; and grandparents, Marvin and Jeanette Launius of Bearden.
Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Damon Launius and Rev.
