Marvin Richard Marek Jr. is beloved and known to most as Rick Marek. On November 10, 2025, in Christ, Rick passed after a 14-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was laid to rest on November 20, 2025, at Mission Park Dominion in San Antonio, TX, where his full obituary can be found on the website ~ www.missionparks.com. Rick and Frieda were friends who lived in the garage apartment behind me when they were students at the University of Texas. They were wonderful people. I was saddened to learn of Rick's passing just this morning. Frieda, I am so sorry. Please take good care of yourself during this sad time. I am wishing you all the best. Although we have been out of touch for years, I still have very fond memories of Rick and you.
