Marvin McFaddin Obituary
Marvin was born April 29, 1932 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Homer McFaddin and Cloie Blair McFaddin. In addition to his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Evelyn Rose McFaddin and two brothers, Kenneth McFaddin and Paul McFaddin.
Marvin is survived by two sons, Tracy (Dawn) McFaddin of Knoxville, Tennessee and Robert Lee (Lois) McFaddin of Delaware, Ohio; eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at First Freewill Baptist with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Rose-Mullins Cemetery, Keaton, Kentucky. Friends may visit the First Freewill Baptist Church Monday, May 19, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request that donations be made to First Freewill Baptist Church by contacting Jones-Preston Funeral Home at 606-789-3501.

Marvin was a quite man but a solid rock of Paintsville; he did not know me well, but anytime I was in Paintsville, my path would run across Marvin either at the " store", Funeral Home, or the nursing home; he was a fine Christian gentle man. May he rest in peace as he watches over the places he loved in Kentucky, as it was so much a part of him. prayers to his family. Judy Pugh Blake
