Marvin R. Munn, 59, of Battle Creek, passed away November 8, 2021 at Ascension Borgess Hospital. Marvin was born October 14, 1962 in Lakeview, MI to Phillip and Veronica (Johnson) Munn. He received his Associate's Degree from Kellogg Community College and worked as a Facilities Maintenance Technician for CLM Midwest. Marvin married the former Kathleen Clark, who survives. Marvin is also survived by his children, Zachary (Monica) Hadley, Candice Hadley, Erica Jones, Rebekah Chonko and Caleb Munn; 13 grandchildren, his mother, Vonnie Munn; and two sisters, Dawn Munn and Marlene Munn. Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Phillip and a brother, David Munn. Marvin and Kathy loved to attend Renaissance Festivals together and participate in the reenactments. He studied history and enjoyed visiting historical places. Marvin was a fixer of all things and loved to help people. He always had a "bad Dad joke" to share and a useless random bit of trivia tell. His main passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Funeral services to celebrate Marvin's life will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Calvary Chapel Church, 3142 Capital Ave., Battle Creek. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service, starting at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Alternatives Pregnancy care center of Battle Creek. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. Personal messages for the family may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
