Marvin Niedbalski, 61, of Waltonville, Illinois, passed away at 11:45 am July 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1964 in Joliet, Illinois to Marvin L. and Lorretta K. (Piasse) Niedbalski. Marvin married Pamela (Baltzell) Niedbalski on May 14, 2024.
Marvin is survived by his mother, Kay Niedbalski and husband, Ken Cox of Greenville, Illinois; wife, Pamela Niedbalski; children, Miles Niedbalski and wife, Megan of West Virginia, Keri Hiltibidal of Centralia, Illinois, Jordan Baltzell of Waltonville, Illinois; grandchildren, Odyn Niedbalski and Marlee Baltzell; brother, Tony Schweda and wife, Amber and their children, Tristan and Little Tony of Bonnie, Illinois; father-in-law, Charles Shelton and special friend, Doris; brothers-in-law, Jr Shelton and fiance, Hayley Thompson of Mount Vernon, Illinois, Melvin Shelton and significant other, Dary Painter of Richview, Illinois; and Billy Shelton and wife, Jamie and children of Waltonville, Illinois; nephew, Cody Shelton and Molly Sandy of Waltonville, Illinois; and nieces, Emily Harville of Mount Vernon, Illinois and Allie Painter of Richview, Illinois
Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. Niedbalski; maternal grandparents, Anna and Tony Piasse; and mother-in-law, Mary Shelton.
Mr. Niedbalski proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked in the oil and gas industry setting tanks for gas stations. Marvin was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking. Above all, he loved his family and he enjoyed anytime there was a family gathering.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Newell Funeral Home in Waltonville, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with Monsignor David Darin officiating. Full military rites will be held at the cemetery. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Marvin's honor to the family in care of Pamela Niedbalski.
