Marvin Rice Obituary

Mr. Marvin Allen Rice, fiancé' to Bridgette Jones, son of the late Bud and Rebecca F. Rice, passed Saturday, November 8, 2025.
He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Marvin was a United States Army Veteran. He was currently working with Fred Anderson Automotive Group, formerly known as Bradshaw. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, watching TV, cooking and helping others.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories, including his fiancé' Bridgette Jones, are his children, son Shamario Rice of Wellford, SC, Shant'a Rice, Shanay Rice and Ashley Rice all of Greenville, SC; his siblings, Yolanda (Robert) Fraizer, Vanessa Rice, Crystal Rice, Kelley (Apostle Gerald) Williams and Barbara (Bernard) Foster all of Greer, SC and Michael Rice of Duncan, SC; his grands, Arterrell Beasley, Damous Beasley and Dehja Beasley; his special nephew, Duran Rice; his bonus kids, Rodney Montgomery and Curtis (Shaleci) Beasley; along with a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with military rites. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
