Marvelous Marvin,

I would not have made it through my years in the Air Force without your friendship and good nature. We had some great times and I will never forget you. Thank you my friend!

Marvin, Every time I hear a train whistle blow or Jeff Majors' Psalm 23, I'll think of you and smile. Thank you for the joy and experience of knowing you. Thank you for all of the advice and guidance you gave throughout the years. Thank you for being an amazing man. An awesome family man and most of all, a dear friend. You fought the fight - you never gave up - you finished the race. Now take your reward...sleep on my friend - sleep on...when the trumpet sounds we shall all meet again. 'Til then, may you rest in Heavenly peace.

My heart is so heavy right now. When I got the call, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Marvin you will be truly missed. I'm so glad our paths crossed. You taught me a lot, we got in some good laughs and I will never forget you. Rest on Marvin. By the way, "what's up with this dishwasher chico?" Lol.

Much love,
Ashleigh

Family,

For a time such as this - there are no words to adequately express the depth of sorrow felt. May God give you rainbows after this storm, replace your tears with smiles, and for every sigh of grief uttered - may He replace each one with a song. Thank you for sharing your husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend with the rest of us. Marvin was a good soul and we are the better for having had the privilege.

I first met Marvin when I began working for him in 1999. He was the kind of person that when you met him you felt like you had known him forever. He was a kind and caring person who greeted everyone with his infectious smile and personality. My condolences and prayers to the Simms family. May the precious memories make you smile and the comfort of the Lord give you peace.
