Oh how we love Aunt June! Thanks for your memory filled tribute for your mother. We loved when your family was at Wildwood. June enriched our days there with her stories, generosity, enthusiasm and uplifting energy. There were always gingersnaps in the Hamblin cookie jar to enjoy, and we were welcome to sit down for a card game with Uncle Bob. I can hear the whir and rhythm of June´s sewing machine. I am the lucky recipient of a personalized Raggedy Ann doll, which is still a treasure. Love to you dear cousins.

June was indeed a woman with spark. She always spoke with animation and energy. And she was such a great responder to others' stories. I remember her clapping when she was tickled by a story or an achievement, like Elsie, her aunt. Just one clap and an encouraging comment. She was great audience all by herself. She loved people and she was a favorite! Now she's entertaining her sisters and most of the Brockbank girls.
Her struggle after the divorce took the wind out of her beautiful, strong sails. She is now her true, sharp and adorable self.
Love to all the Adams.

Here's a photo of the day of the Wildwood luncheon you describe. So many fun memories of Aunt June and her enthusiasm for others and their experiences. I'm not sure if it's accurate, but I have a memory of her saying, "Isn't that PERFECT!?!" in response to hearing a story or accomplishment.

Aunt June was so good to me. She saved my autistic son and willingly shared her knowledge and expertise. I enjoyed her positive personality and joy in noticing the good in others and complimenting them. It was always a delight to be around her!! I honor and adore our 5 Matriarchs!! We have the BEST HERITAGE EVER!!
