Mary Elizabeth Aims

Mary Elizabeth Aims, 97, of Narvon, PA passed away Sunday, September 7th, at Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center.
Mary was born in Kearny, NJ on October 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Sarah (Reavy) and Charles Bross. She was the widow of Charles H. Aims who predeceased her on September 28, 2018. She was a member of Saint Benedict's RC Church Mohnton, PA where she was part of St. Benedict's Prime Timers club.
In 1959, Mary earned a MS in Music from Columbia University and was later employed as an Executive Secretary to Director at, first, East Orange General Hospital and then Schering Corporation in the Biological Research Division. After a move to Stuttgart West Germany, Mary served with the Civil Service (1974) on Army Base (Patch Barracks.) After moving back to the United States, Mary enjoyed many years as a Legal Secretary in Colorado Springs and then New York City.
Mary is survived by two step daughters, Carolyn, wife of William Gold, of Saratoga Springs, NY; Judith Ann Aims, of Harrisburg;
a step son, Robert C., widower of Mary Lou Aims, of East Berlin, PA.
She is also survived by three step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren and a niece, Kathleen M. Caggiano widow of Joseph Caggiano of Bethesda, MD, and a nephew, C. Kevin Fetzer, husband of Wendy of Middlesex, NJ.
Mary was predeceased by her sister, Theresa (Bross) Fetzer, and several beloved aunts and uncles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 23rd at Gethsemane Chapel of the Resurrection in Laureldale, PA .
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Aim's name to St Benedict's RC church Mohnton, PA 19508.
