Mary Alice Bosselman

Mary Alice Wayt Bosselman passed away on February 20, 2025 in Fosston, Minnesota at the age of 84. Mary Alice was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 29, 1940 to Edgar and Alice (Blowers) Wayt. She grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, graduating from St. Petersburg High School in 1958. Mary Alice attended Florida State University, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, was a Kappa Alpha Sweetheart, and graduated in 1962 with a degree in Social Welfare. She was a lifelong Seminole Fan! Following college, she married Crockett Farnell and was a homemaker, raising their 3 sons. Her career interests were many, including: working for Pinellas County Schools as a substitute teacher, and later becoming a legal secretary. She enjoyed tennis, playing bridge, needlepoint, volunteering, sharing her love for cooking with family and friends, and was a gracious hostess. She married George Bosselman of Brooksville, Florida in 1993 and they remained in the Sunshine State until their retirement and move to Minnesota in 2013. Mary Alice was a person of unwavering faith and was an active church member throughout her lifetime. She found great comfort in her beliefs and in her relationship with God until her last breath.

Mary Alice is predeceased by her parents, Edgar R. Wayt and Alice B. Wayt, as well as her brother, Frank H. Wayt. She is survived by her spouse, George Bosselman, and by her children: Crockett (Bonnie) Farnell, Rob (Claire) Farnell, and Clinton (Erica) Farnell, and by her step-daughter, Terisa (Mike) Vig. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Barron Farnell, Quinn Farnell, Haley Farnell, Briland (Sydney) Schack-Farnell, Rhett (Maddie) Farnell, Hannah Farnell, Cooper Farnell, Trevor Vig, Tanner Vig, and by 2 great-grandsons: Charlie Farnell and Aster Schack-Farnell.
