Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm Friday, May 2, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and Saturday from 11am-1pm at Ott and Lee.
Mary Aline Wade was born April 9, 1949 in Simpson County, and entered her heavenly home on April 30, 2025 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton.
Aline loved her family dearly. She was chairman of the Hostess Committee of Springfield Baptist Church, Morton, where she was a longtime member. She loved serving others through her church ministries in her community, at Carlisle Crisis Center and Women Ministries. She loved her flowers and gardening. Aline loved her vegetable garden and raising chickens. She farmed after returning to Scott County after serving as a military wife. Her husband Ronald Wade served in the Air Force and Air Guard for 25 years. Aline loved her children, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.
Aline was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Ray Boone and Hilda Aline Grayson Boone.
Aline is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, sons David (Annette) Wade of Morton, Greg Wade of Morton, grandchildren Carter Wade, Nathan (Macy) Wade and Kallie Wade, siblings Charlie Boone of Michigan and Janie Boone Carlise of D’Lo, MS; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Brian Tagert, Scott Myrick, Nathan Patrick, Lee Beard, Cole Irby and Kenneth Boone.
Honorary pallbearers were Brent Winstead, Danny Cooper, Carter Wade, Nathan Wade, Kallie Wade and Michael Betts.
Visitation was held from 5pm-8pm Friday, May 2, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton and Saturday from 11am-1pm at Ott and Lee.
Chapel service was held at 1pm Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Ott and Lee Chapel in Morton.
Graveside service was held at Springfield Baptist Cemetery following the chapel service.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton is honored to serve the Wade family.
