I just heard about Annette's passing, and to her family, I want to offer my deepest condolences.

I went to high school with Annette. I vividly remember her beautiful, twinkling eyes and her contagious laugh. She was genuine and kind. I admired her confidence, and to me, she always seemed so smart and wise beyond her years. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

I was friends with Annette in high school. Unlike so many teenage girls, she was confident and proud of her body and mind. She was comfortable being the offbeat and creative person she was. She embodied the feminist ideals that I aspired to with great effort. Annette was a natural. She was an original. She danced like Prince. She could wear heels for hours. She was an inspiration, and I was lucky to know her.

To ALL of Annettes' Family go my deepest condolences. I am sorry that we all lost such a sweet and loving soul, and I will miss her dearly. Much love and respect.

Prayer for the Dead:

In your hands, O Lord,
we humbly entrust our brothers and sisters.
In this life you embraced them with your tender love;
deliver them now from every evil
and bid them eternal rest.

The old order has passed away:
welcome them into paradise,
where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,
but fullness of peace and joy
with your Son and the Holy Spirit
forever and ever.
R/. Amen.

Annette and I were on the St, Mike's Pony Express Dance team together. She was a senior and I was a freshman. She was very kind and willing to work with the younger girls on the team to show us the ropes. She was confident in her skin at a young age and I always admired her for that. Rest in peace Annette! You will be missed.
