Mary Ann Hart, 82, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, after a long and happy life. Mary Ann was born in Nassau County, NY in 1943 and moved to Farmingville in 1969 with her husband and three girls. They later moved to their retirement home in Pennsylvania and then recently became a Floridian where she spent the remainder of her days. Mary Ann’s greatest joy in life came from spending time with her husband of 61 years, John, and being a mother, grandmother and recently a great grandmother and took great pride in each and every one of them. She was a warm and compassionate person with a straightforward attitude. She made a beautiful home for her family where she created many happy memories throughout their lives. She is survived by her husband: John and their three daughters, Kimberly Hart, Kristine Hart, Karen Hart Celli (spouse Robert); three grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, and Danielle; and one great grandchild, Logan Jack. She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Christman (spouse Robert), Linda Rooney (spouse Kevin), and Walter Ottosen (spouse Donna). Mary Ann is reunited in heaven with her mother, Mary Skorge, stepfather, Klary Skorge, and her siblings, Klary and Charles Skorge. We will miss Mary Ann, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. However, we know that she is in good hands and will receive a welcoming reception led by her nephew David Anton, and all the other loved ones who have passed before her. A service will be held on October 15, 2025, at Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma, New York from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
132 Ronkonkoma Avenue, Lake Ronkonkoma, NY 11779
