Native Modestan, Mary Ann Adams Wood passed away March 24th eight days shy of her 91st birthday.
Mary Ann was a lifelong volunteer who believed in giving back to her community. She had been an active member in Friends of Hospice for over 30 years.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years retired sheriff of Stanislaus County, Lynn Wood. She is survived by her two children a daughter Denise Wood who lives in Modesto and son Craig Wood and his wife Lori who live in Idaho. Her grandchildren Nicole and Husband Jason Botsch; and Michael and wife Justine Wood. Her Great-grandchildren, triplets Madilynn, Olivia and Calvin Botsch; and Hunter and Waylon Wood.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, March 31st from 9:00- 11:00am with private interment. It will be held at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel in Modesto. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to Friends of Community Hospice, Inc in Modesto, CA.
