Mary Arnold, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of ninety. Born on Saturday, June 16, 1934, in the quaint town of Sharon, Georgia, in Taliaferro County, Mary graced the lives of all those who knew her with an enduring kindness that spanned nearly a century. At the time of her passing, she resided in undefined, living a life that touched the hearts of many.

Throughout her years, Mary embodied the virtues of a dedicated life, marked by hard work and an immense love for cooking. Her culinary creations were legendary, not merely for their taste, but for the love they represented. Mary never missed an opportunity to bring family and friends together around her kitchen table, where laughter and warmth thrived with every meal.

Mary’s gentle and humble nature was a hallmark of her personality. She possessed a profound caring and loving spirit, one that brought comfort to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness that will forever be treasured by those she touched.

Mary is survived by her children: Eva Moore Dukes, Steve Arnold, Billy Moore, and Terry Moore, who will continue to honor her memory in their lives. Her loving influence also extends to her siblings: Eula P. Moore, Willie Moore, Rachel Scott, and Roosevelt Moore.

Preceding her in death were her siblings: Leonara Watkins, Ethel M. Boswell, Elmer Moore, Mary Nell Briney, Alvester Moore, Henry Moore, Emily Bailey, and Burney Moore, with whom she is now joyously reunited.

Mary’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43231. It is a time for reflections, honoring her remarkable life, and the impact she made on her family and community.

In our hearts, Mary will forever remain a beacon of love and light. Her gentle spirit and caring heart will be sorely missed but never forgotten. We love you, Mary. Rest peacefully in the arms of eternal grace.
