Mary Evelyn Barron (nee Rose), of Lake St. Louis, MO, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Robert Barron; cherished daughter of the late John W. and Mary M. Rose; devoted mother of the late John "JL" (Sharon- living) Littrell; loving grandmother of Jennifer Bruer and John R Littrell; loving great-grandmother of Addison Bruer, Collin Bruer, Dalanie Littrell, and Savannah Littrell; dear step-mother of Robert H. Barron, Eugenie (Ken) Ytuarte, and Emerson (Diane) Barron; step-grandmother of Ryan (Rachel) Barron, and Harrison (Meghan) Barron; step great-grandmother of Olivia, Alexandra, Elijah, Enzo, Asher, Jude, and Holly; dear sister of Beverly (Tom) Humphrey; special friend of Jim Lafata. Mary was preceded in death by her step grandson, Emerson Scott Barron, Jr.
Mary was a loving and kind woman, affectionately known as “Nanny” by all her grandchildren and their friends. She was active and vibrant, enjoyed shopping, cooking, and spending time outdoors among her flowers and garden. In her younger years, she played golf. She then continued to stay busy through traveling and volunteering alongside her special friend, Jim. Mary was a devoted and involved grandmother who was always there when her family needed her. She cherished her role as a grandmother and took great joy in being with her loved ones. Mary was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Mary's name to Alzheimer's Association.
