Mary Barto Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tomon and Sons Funeral Homes - Middleburg Heights on Sep. 3, 2025.
Mary Beth Barto (nee Kistler), age 95, passed away Thursday, August 7th, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Robert Stauffer Barto. Loving mother of Tracy Louise Furda, Andrew Furda, Scott Emerson Barto, and Anne Rusko. Caring grandmother of Matthew Robert, Jaime Elizabeth, Elyse Louise, Brian Andrew Scott, Nathan Emerson, Alexander Robert, and Zachary Scott.

Mary Beth was an active church member who enjoyed a long, well-lived life. She had several notable careers including: high school teacher; business owner, with her husband Bob; and she was a successful realtor.

She enjoyed many hobbies as well. Mary Beth loved gardening and always planted a variety of colorful flowers. One of her favorite past times was relaxing on her porch, along with her pet cat, watching the birds. She enjoyed sewing and developed the love of painting and crocheting through crafting with her many friends.

Her most enduring and treasured friendships came from her bridge clubs and her beloved Bible study group. She believed the best place to find the best friends was through her church. Her greatest love and pride came from her family. Family always came first and meant everything to her. Mary Beth delighted in spending time with her children and all of her grandchildren. She did her best to live a life that would instill Faith, Courage, and Goodness, in everyone who knew her.

A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, in Grace Church of Middleburg Height's Atrium Chapel Room, 7393 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Heights, OH 44130, at 10:00 AM, with fellowship to follow after the service.
