Mary Sue Tyson Beasley, 73, passed peacefully into the next life on Saturday, April 17, 2010, following an extended illness. She was born on October 29, 1936, in Milano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl B. Tyson and Sue Belle McCall Tyson; and her sister, Emma Tyson Weitz. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 53 years, Johnnie Beasley Sr.; sons, John Beasley Jr., Robert C. Beasley and wife Lisa, Richard B. Beasley; daughter, Kristy Harrell and husband Dustin. She leaves behind four grandchildren and a close extended family and many friends. Affectionately known as "Mimi", she was known for her kind and giving nature, sharp sense of humor, her warm, beautiful smile and her infectious laugh. She loved making other people happy, the holidays, travel, and most of all, spending time with her family. Her passing has created a void in the lives of those who love her that will never be filled. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704. Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks, 14501 Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX.
