It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Bellach, 73, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Mary passed away on May 18th, 2025.
Born on February 28th, 1952, in Manhattan, New York to the late John and Josephine (O'Brien) Piznak, Mary grew up in various parts of New York City and Pennsylvania before settling in New Jersey in the 1980's.
Mary began her career as a beautician and through determination and strong work ethic, transitioned into the accounting field, earning respect for her leadership and dedication as the Controller for Brunnquell Iron Works, Inc., in Dayton, NJ. Mary retired from her role as the Controller after many years of service.
Mary's life was characterized by devotion to her family, work, and traditions that brought joy to those she loved. Always known for her protective nature and fearless determination, she approached life with unwavering tenacity. Her most treasured moments were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for photography and could always be found at her grandchildren's events, capturing memorable moments with her camera. She loved traveling to Atlantic City, where she enjoyed the bells and whistles of the slot machines. Mary was also an avid music lover and attended countless concerts of her favorite artists. She especially loved hosting holiday gatherings and birthdays - always preparing everyone's favorite meals and making sure everyone had leftovers.
Giving was a core part of Mary's character. She was always willing to lend a hand to her neighbors and give whatever she could to help others. Mary exemplified strength and resilience, never shying away from challenges and always giving her all to those she loved.
She is loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Erin Bellach; granddaughter, Josephine Shalvoy; grandsons, Daniel and Tyler Gogan; great-granddaughter Layla Rose Gogan; brother John Piznak and sister-in-law, Ronnie; and several nieces. Mary was predeceased by her daughter Heather (Bellach) Gogan; her parents, John and Josephine (O'Brien) Piznak, her brother, Michael Piznak; and her sister, Joann Piznak.
Mary's legacy endures through the generations she nurtured with her unwavering love and support, along with the family traditions and cherished recipes she held close to her heart. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
