Mary Helen Bencomo, a beloved sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend passed away on July 15th, 2023, in her home in Albuquerque NM. She was born December 23rd, 1938, in Greenly, Colorado to her loving parents Candy maria Rocha1916-1997 and her father Esquipula Bencomo 1924-1955. Helen is survived by (brother) Phillip Martinez Sr, (sister-in-law) Peggy Martinez, (niece) Angel Davison and her husband Joey Davison and their children Shantelle and Fabian.
Helen’s departure has left a void in our hearts of those who knew her best, leaving behind precious memories that will forever warm our hearts. Helen will be known for endless generosity and empathy towards others, Helen had an innate ability to uplift those around her. She made it a point to extend kindness to everyone she encountered, she would go daily and put fresh flowers to all her family and friends graves especially for holidays so that they wouldn’t be forgotten, Helen also volunteered for the Road runner feeding the homeless, volunteering at the church Risen Savor. she was also known for being an amazing bowling and pool player “go Helen”. In this time of loss and grief, we find solace in knowing that Helen is now in a better place, free from suffering. It is with heavy hearts but also with gratitude that we celebrate the beautiful life she led. The memories we shared with Helen will be remembered a lifetime.
To our beloved Helen your love, spirit, and compassion will never fade from our lives. You have touched our hearts in so many ways, as we mourn your departure from this world, we take solace in the knowledge that your spirit will forever guide and protect us.
Rest in peace, Helen You will forever be loved and missed.
