Mary Berenotto Obituary
Mary E. (Betty) Berenotto, age 98, formerly of Linwood, NJ passed away peacefully on December 03, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank (of 67 years) and her son, Michael. Betty is survived by her sons and family - Daughter-in-law, Lori Berenotto, Joe Berenotto (wife Linda), Peter Berenotto (wife Christine), Paul Berenotto (wife Colleen McIntyre-Berenotto); her grandchildren include, Christopher (wife Rev. Kim), Peter Jr, Juli Bruno (husband Tony), Michael Jr (wife Cortney), Holly Lesser (husband Josh), Ryan, and Dominic. She has six great-grandchildren, Hazel, Alexandria, Jayde, Teddy, Benjamin, and Franky. Betty, born November 3, 1927 in Hammonton, graduated from Hammonton High School in 1945. She spent over 65 years in Linwood, raising four sons and actively participating in Our Lady of Sorrows as a eucharistic minister. Throughout her life, she volunteered in various roles, including the Linwood Convalescent Center, St Joe's PTA, ARC (horse farm for children with disabilities), and making thousands of rosaries for Churches and Villa Raffaella. Betty enjoyed baking, gardening, quilting, caring for animals, and was a founding member of South Shore Stitchers Quilt Guild for 40 Years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 12 th 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Linwood NJ. Viewings will be held on Thursday, December 11th, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1701 New Rd. Linwood and again on Friday starting at 10 a.m., in the Church. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.

Both Betty and Frank meant a lot to my parents, and we had the honor to know them both. A great couple, back together again. She was so sweet and kind. and they raised a great family. Please accept our sincerest condolences for your loss.
