Mary Ann Bissette

Mary Ann Bissette, 83, of Fayetteville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11, 2024. 

She was born in Fayetteville on January 1, 1941, to the late Mary Catherine and James H. Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years WA Bissette; and grandson, Jacob Greene.

Mary Ann was a founding member of The Church of the Open Door where she used her knowledge of the Bible in women’s ministry. She was instrumental in establishing Bible Study Fellowship in Fayetteville and served in a leadership capacity for over 25 years. 

Left to cherish Mary Ann’s memory are her daughter, Lynne Greene; son, David Bissette; granddaughter, Krystle Greene; great grandson, Cole Greene; sister, Elaine Wilson; and numerous extended family, close friends, and her church family.

A Celebration of Life service is planned for 4pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Fayetteville Community Church. Pastor Wesley Pritchard will officiate.
