Mary was a stay at home mom and cherished the time she spent with her family. She always put family first. Mary enjoyed flowers, crocheting, gardening, making pillows and blankets, and sewing. Her specialty was making pies and a hot cup of green tea.
She is survived by her sons, Clyde Blencowe of Campbell, NY and Clair (Melanie) Blencowe of Painted Post, NY, daughter, Diane (Ronald) Bush of Horseheads, NY, former daughter-in-law, Nancy Blencowe of Bradford, NY
seven grandchildren, Sarah Blencowe of Bradford, NY, Dylan Blencowe of Corning, NY, Cody (Kate) Blencowe of Bresseport, NY, Jesse Blencowe of Edmeston, NY, Kristen (Josh) Veith of Cleveland, Ohio, Hailey (Kenyon Hollis) Blencowe, Horseheads, NY and Keri (Jeremiah) Jacquier of Groton, CT, great grandsons, Liam Veith and Brayden Veith both of Cleveland, Ohio, great granddaughter, Celeste (Corey Dixon) Matthews of Painted Post, great great grandson, Cas Dixon, and her sister, June Patella of Rochester.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Phillips Funeral Home, 17 West Pulteney Street, on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at the Chapel Knoll Cemetery at 1:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys name may be sent to one's local humane society or animal shelter or the charity of one's choice.
