Many of my childhood memories include Mary and Red Chimneys. As one of the neighborhood kids I spent a lot of time there. We climbed Mt Battie on Saturday mornings. And in the summer we rode our bikes out to Jack Proctors to swim. We went Girl Scouts together and trick or treating on Halloween. So many memories. I remember when she was in Boston for treatment. I took her to watch an operation and she was positive she wanted to be a nurse. We had such wonderful times. I miss her.

Mary, the thing I best remember you for is your proprioceptive writing, a tool I've used ever since, and we shared a love of good food and healthy eating. I will miss your sunny smile. To her family and close friends, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
