Mary P. Bourke, a vibrant soul passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, in Menasha, Wisconsin. Mary was born on September 19, 1965 in Hennepin, Minnesota to Robert and Marjorie (Thayer) Bourke.
Mary’s home was always a sanctuary, for humans and animals alike. She was a lifelong lover of animals, welcoming pygmy goats, crows, raccoons, iguanas, cats, and dogs into her home. Each critter, large and small, found a place in her heart and under her roof. Mary had an adventurous spirit and loved the great outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. She was truly creative and enjoyed making crafts and playing bingo, activities that brought her joy and happiness.
Mary had an unwavering devotion to her family, which she treasured above all. Her children and grandchildren were her proudest accomplishments. Described by many as a free spirit, she possessed a fierce heart and had a boundless capacity for love. Those who knew Mary best, understood the depth of her affectionate heart. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate to encounter her love, laughter, and spirit.
Mary is survived by her children Jessica Bourke, Jeffery (Lacy) Bourke, Jenalee (Chad) Kloepfel and Joshuah Bourke; grandchildren Alexzander Dettloff, Jazmyne Dettloff, Emmalee Bourke, Presleigh Kaquatosh, Parker Bourke, Ethan Kilsdonk, Dravin Kloepfel, Payton Islinger, Kadence Kloepfel, Elijah Rutten, Kayleigh Delzer and Keira Kloepfel; siblings Lori Thayer, Julie Winkler, Thomas Bourke and Richard Thayer.
