Thank-you for making this inspirational service availab.e for those of who live far away. The talks, music, and memories were beautiful and also beautifully managed! Often when services are in chapels, it is difficult to hear. This was clear as a bell. I have many fond memories of my association with Mary--including a beautiful trip to Connamara before Sue found her place in southern Ireland. I think of Mary's wit as well as her wisdom, her love of purple, her joy in discovering new places and people, and especially something not mentioned in the service, her work in connecting Virginia Sorensen and Esther Peterson to our generation of feminists. I will never forget going with her to visit Esther in Alexandria--or eating Afghan food with her after she moved from her Arlington home. I was eight years younger than Mary and didn't know that until I read her obituary. She radiated life! The service was beautiful. Thank you. Laurel Ulrich

Mary was an enthusiastic mentor to me and encouraged me when I was living in DC and trying to document and interview those involved in the 'Mormons for ERA' organization.
I was so delighted when she was working on the Lowell Bennion book that I could introduce her to my Mother who became her research assistant. Mom loved Bro. Bennion and loved working with Mary to help the book become a reality.
It is so easy to recall Mary's cheerful and sometimes wry voice. She always made me feel that I could achieve whatever project I was planning.
