Mary Branham passed away peacefully, full of life and love until the very end. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a treasured friend.

Mary embraced life with curiosity and creativity. She loved learning new things and found joy in sewing, painting, flower arranging, and cake decorating. In her younger years, she was a savvy and determined businesswoman in the petroleum industry - a rare accomplishment in what was then a male-dominated field. Through grit and wisdom, she skillfully built her business into a profitable and rewarding venture.

Her greatest devotion, however, was always her family. She and her beloved husband, Gorris "Cham" Branham, shared many adventures traveling across the United States before his passing. She often fondly told stories of driving to work with her son Ricky on her knee - a testament to the deep bond they shared. Ricky was her heart and soul, and she gave everything to become a stay-at-home mother. She never missed a wrestling meet, football game, or PTA meeting.

When Ricky married Kathy, Mary's heart grew even fuller. She would often say she never thought she could be happier - until her grandchildren arrived. With each grandchild and great-grandchild, her world expanded with even greater love and pride.

Mary loved the holidays and cherished family vacations. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and Sunday morning drives to Stoney Creek Baptist Church in Ypsilanti were among her most treasured rituals. She loved to turn up the music, tap her hand on the steering wheel, and enjoy the open road.

In her later years, she found joy in simple pleasures - peaceful afternoons on her back porch, fresh flowers in bloom, feeding her cranes, and snowballs

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Albert Taylor, Robbie Brown, Joe Taylor, Woodrow Taylor, Talley Taylor, Christine Jasionowski, Robert Taylor, and Audrey Fitzpatrick; her beloved husband, Gorris "Cham" Branham; her son, Ricky Michael Branham; and her grandson, Travis Aaron Branham.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kathy Branham; her granddaughters, Ashleigh (Colton) Branham and Amanda (Timothy) Browning; her great-grandchildren, Zakkary Browning, Isabel Browning, Dakota Browning, Jaime Browning, and Sofia Browning; her nephew, Mickey Frye; and her great-nephew, William Frye.

Mary's life was one of strength, devotion, creativity, and unwavering love. She leaves behind a legacy that will live on in the stories told, the traditions carried forward, and the family she cherished beyond measure
