Mary A. Bremseth, age 86, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away December 28, 2024 at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, Minnesota.
Mary Ann Bremseth was born on May 27, 1938 to Greta (Pearson) and Harley Lark. On October 10, 1954 she married Kenneth Lyle Bremseth in Grand Meadow, MN, they later divorced. Together they had five children. Mary worked as a housekeeper at Charter House, Mayo Clinic for twelve and a half years and in her earlier years she was a cook at Maple Manor in Rochester, MN.
She loved painting and crafting, an interest and talent she inherited from her father. Her father’s paintings were cherished possessions, which she passed on to her children. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Mary is proud of and loves all her children and all their children. She was a patriotic American and always willing to have some coffee along with a lively conversation about current events.
Mary is survived by her five children; Mary (Don) Riedemann of Chatfield, MN, Susan (Bernard) Kreidermacher of Kasson, MN, John (Penny) Bremseth of Rochester, MN, Ken (Diane) Bremseth of Blooming Prairie, MN and Dan (Nancy) Bremseth of Rochester, MN; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; her brother, Bill (Susan) Lark of Harmony, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Ron Lark and Kathy Lark.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025 at Hosanna Lutheran Church 2815 57th St. NW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, MN.
