Mary Brown Obituary
She was born on Feb. 6, 1937, to the late Jack and Lilis Purdy Hoagland in Palm Beach, Fla.
Mary was a longtime antique dealer at III C's Antiques in Murphy, N.C. She had been a resident of Murphy for more than 30 years.
Mrs. Brown was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was known throughout the community as Miss Mary at III C's by many.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Philip H. Brown; longtime friend and caregivers, Wayne and Ann Polacek; and many additional longtime friends also survive.
A visitation time for Mary is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Cochran-McDaniel Funeral Home in Murphy.
