Mary Lee "Mae Lee" Callaway; Funeral service for Mary Callaway, 91, of Auburn, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 10, 2022, at New Exodus Apostolic Church, 7074 County Road 53, Notasulga, AL 36866 with interment in Pine Level Cemetery, Bishop Clarence Manley will officiate. (Facial covering is required)
Mrs. Callaway, who passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL, was born August 1, 1931 in Macon County, AL.
Public viewing will be Friday, September 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required). Mrs. Callaway will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
She leaves to cherish her memory: six children, Judy Ann (Bishop Clarence) Manley of Tuskegee, AL, Willie Mae (John) Porter, Jonathan (Mary) Callaway both of Auburn, AL, Dildra (Tommie) Richardson, Steven (Yolanda) Callaway both of Loachapoka, AL and Cynthia (Robert) Vaughn of Opelika, AL; 28 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Catherine Callaway of Loachapoka, AL and Christine Callaway of Atlanta, GA; one son-in-law, Lorenzo Hardnett of Loachapoka, AL; two devoted nieces, Priscilla (Reginal) Strickland of Auburn, AL and Lugina Chandler of Detroit, MI; devoted neighbor and friend, Lynda Sue Pace of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
