Mary Catherine Dugger Carroll, age 78, passed away September 10, 2023. Mary was born January 22, 1945 in Los Angeles, CA to the late John Norman Dugger and Nina Snyder Dugger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Carroll; son, Timmy Carroll; brothers, Carroll Dugger, Steven Dugger, and grandson, Jeremiah Carroll.
Survivors include sons, Ken “Punch” Carroll Jr. and wife, Tammy, Geoff Carroll, John Carroll; sister, Linda Sweetman; special cousin, Earl Dugger; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Green officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Carroll Family Cemetery on Dry Hill Road in Butler. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
At other times, friends and family may visit the home of Ken Carroll, 261 Howes Lane, Butler, TN 37640.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rescue Dog & End of Life Sanctuary, c/o Melissa Gentry, 977 Harbin Hill Rd., Mountain City, TN 37683.
