Mary “Audrey” Casciato, 89, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at Family Hospice in Canterbury Place on Sunday, January 19, 2025, while in the comforting presence of her family. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Charles Casciato, Sr. She is survived by her children, Mim (Leigh) Gerstenberger, Edward, Roberta (Larry) Luba, Gina (late Eugene) Vennare, Frank (Christine); former daughter-in-law, Jean Casciato; and sister, Pat Guthrie. She was Nana to Rob (Genna), Abby (Jack), Kathryn, Andrea, Shane (Lindsay), Morgan (Luke), Anthony, and Sam (Regan); and great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her mother, Selma McIntyre; daughter, Elizabeth; and son, Robert, Jr. Audrey loved playing bingo (and winning) and spending time with family. She also loved to crochet, cook, and was an especially accomplished baker of all things yummy. Known fondly as Audrey, Mom, or Nana, she will be missed by all. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend her interment service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 718 Hazelwood Ave., Tuesday, January 28, 2025, 10 AM. Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp., 412-563-2800. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Fisher House, Memo: In Memory of Mary A.
