Mary Ann Charlton

Faribault - Mary Ann Charlton, age 83 of Faribault, MN passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Faribault Senior Living.

Mary Ann, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Wagner) Huber, was born in Strandburg, SD. She grew up in Hosmer, SD and graduated from Hosmer High School with the Class of 1960. She then attended Presentation Heights Religious School for 7 years. On December 27, 1969 she was united in marriage to Melvin Charlton at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Mary Ann worked as a cook for C.J.'s Restaurant and Trucker's Inn. She also worked for C&S Vending for 19 years. While she wasn't working, Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, reading, quilting, spending time with her relatives, and having her morning coffee. She loved volunteering with St. Vincent de Paul in Faribault as well as other charitable organizations.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Christine (Ron) Hullett of Faribault and their children, Nadia and Gigi, Charles (Karen) Charlton of Burnsville, MN and their children, Dane and Dylan and Matthew Charlton of Las Vegas, NV; siblings, Raymond Huber, Evelyn Lilly, and Veronica Huber; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin; brothers, Leo Huber, David Huber, and Joseph Huber; and sister-in-law, Denise Huber.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church with Father Cory Rohlfing officiating. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at church prior to Mass.

Mary Ann's children would like to give a special thank you to the Charlton family for the special care they showed her.
