Mary Clark Johnson, 65, entered Into eternal rest on November 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. Born on March 5, 1960, In Champaign, Illinois, Mary was one of two -sharing her birthday, her earllest memories, and an unbreakable bond with her beloved twin sister, Martha Clark. She was the daughter of the late B. Ella Powell and Frank Clark, and from a young age, she accepted Christ into her life, beginning a lifelong walk of faith.

Mary spent her childhood years in Greenville, Mississippi, surrounded by family, community, and the simple Southern values that would shape who she became. In her young adult life, she made her way to Texas, where she continued to build deep connections with those she loved. For the past 30 years, Mary made her home in Georgia, where she was a devoted and loyal member of Peace Baptist Church, continuing her Journey of faith and service.

Anyone who knew Mary knew two things Instantly-she loved hard, and she loved clean. She was a true stickler for order, with a touch of OCD that made her home sparkle and kept everything in its rightful place. Her cleaning skills were legendary, but even more so was her heart. She was

a loving and dedicated slater, aunt, cousin, and friend, who greeted everyone she encountered with the biggest and brightest smile. Her warmth filled every room, and her loyalty to her family was unmatched. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and by her siblings: Sisters Ella Mae Dunlap, Dora Giddings, Bessie Reynolds and Christine Chavis and Brothers- Frank Jones, Jessie James Jones and Jessle Reynolds, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories Sisters Martha Clark (twin), Betty Washington, and Mary Thomas; and her brothers: Joe Jones and Edward Reynolds. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless loved ones who wore touched by her kindness and generosity. To know Mary was to feel loved. Her presence was a gift, her spirit unforgettable, and her legacy-rooted In family, faith, and joy-will continue to live on In the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
