Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth (Jewel) Cobb, 86, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Fair Park Baptist Church, with Brother Waymond Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Cobb was born July 19, 1924 in Plainview, TX and passed away October 18, 2010 at home. She was a charter member of Fair Park Baptist Church. Mrs. Cobb was a housewife and mother, beloved in life by her numerous and cherished family members. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her sisters Ava Lee Horne, Lucille Gautreaux, and Juanita Morse, as well as her brother Cleo Morse. She is survived by a sister Barbara Ralston; two brothers Harold Morse and wife Kathleen, Ira Morse and wife Gloria; two daughters, Sharon Clarice Cobb Case and husband Jimmy and Jan Elizabeth Cobb Walker and husband Steve; four sons, Wesley Earl Cobb, Jr. and wife Renee, David Ronald Cobb and wife Barbara, Robert Allen Cobb and wife Diane, and Richard Randolph Cobb and wife Becki; six grandchildren Lisa Diane Cobb Cleveland and husband Keith, Robert Aaron Cobb, Jeffrey Allen Cobb and fiancee' Lindsay Walsworth, Kelley Michelle Cobb Marshall and husband Bryan, Jaclyn Estelle Cobb Chavez and husband John, Steven Carl Walker, Jr., and Lauren Elizabeth Walker; step grandchildren Stanley Ailshie, Jr. and wife Carol, Brian Ailshie and wife Audrey, Angela Ailshire, and Lindsey Ingram and husband Philip; great grandchildren Wesley Miller, Khala Miller, Gene Flores, and Kadyn Marshall; and step great grandchildren Veronica Butler, Makenzie Ingram, Jarret Ailshie, Lauren Ailshie, and Ryan Ailshire. Pallbearers will be her nephews with honorary pallbearers being Deacons at Fair Park Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 5:00 PM til 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
