Mary Magdalene Collier was born on February 25, 1939, Madisonville, Texas, to the late Quinny Medlock and Odessa Medlock.
Mary moved to Abilene, Texas in the early 1940's, where she attended school, and she was baptized as a young child.
Mary worked at a cafeteria on Abilene Army Air Base. Where she met the love of her life, Crawford Collier. On April 26, 1957, they were united in holy matrimony, and they started their family.
For several years, Mary was a devoted worker for Tootsie Roll, Inc, located in Chicago, Illinois.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Crawford Collier, her son Gary Collier, her parents Quinny and Odessa Medlock, her stepmother Mary Medlock, her sister’s Geneva Pope, Ola Mae Brown and Pearlee Kindle, her brother Andrew House and one granddaughter Ruby Joylin Collier.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her children; Billy Ross (Angela), Ruby Collier, Andrew Collier Sr., Debbie Hilliard (Larry) and Deborah Collier; eleven grandchildren; Venita Collier, Melana Collier, Andrew Collier Jr (Kenda), Randy Collier, Darnell Collier, Tyrone Collier (Meeka), Andre Collier, Quincy Hilliard, Antonie Jefferson (Brianna), Selena McGee, Devante Collier and host of nieces, nephews, two generations ofgrandchildren, cousins, and friends
