Mary "Jane" Copeland

Mary "Jane" Copeland of formerly of Ironton, Missouri passed away January 20, 2014 in Farmington at the age of 82 Years. She was born July 14, 1931 in Rolla, MO the daughter of the late Elmer "Jake" and Rebul (Gunter) Collier. On November 14, 1953 she was united in marriage to Jesse Ralph Copeland who preceded her in death on November 24, 1991. To this union two children were born; Sandra Griffin and husband Frank of Middlebrook, MO and Donna Copeland and partner, Dave Hartupee of Farmington, MO. In addition to her children Jane is survived by one brother Gary Collier of St. James, MO; two sisters, Billie Birch and husband Karl of Webster Groves, MO and Clara Lou Sooter of St. James, MO; and three grandchildren; Stacy, Cindy, and Olivia Jane, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Jane was preceded in death by one brother Jake Collier and one brother-in-law, Charles Sooter. Jane was a member of the Arcadia Valley United Methodist Church. She loved being around horses and horseback riding.
