Mary Crouse Obituary
Born on November 25, 1928, in Guilford County, Mary was the daughter of the late Charlie Roosevelt Davis and Lena Thomas Mendenhall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Crouse (2012); her sister, Delores Davis; and her brother, Theo Davis.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Guilford County. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church and participated in the Ladies Circle.
Full of spirit and talent, Mary lived a vibrant life. In her younger years she played the piano and bowled on a team. For a short while she owned and rode her own motorcycle. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, candy making, and cake decorating.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Sharon Williamson of Winston Salem, Teresa Scearce of Thomasville, and Debby Rice of Erwin.
Her grandchildren are: Darren Sprinkle (Sherry), Brian Sprinkle (Julie), Wendy Edwards (Matthew), Stephanie Landreth, and Charlie Scearce.
Her great grandchildren are: Adam Sprinkle, Jordan Sprinkle, Cody Landreth, Zachary Sprinkle (Maggie), Christopher Sprinkle, Abbie Landreth, Addison Edwards, Chloe Edwards, Caleb Scearce, Connor Scearce, Zoey Sprinkle, and Anthony Sprinkle.
She has five great, great grandchildren.
Very close cousins: Dale Beeson, Howard Davis, and Christy Davis (Janice).
She also leaves behind special friends Calvin and Frances Morgan.
The family will greet friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10th at Cumby Family Funeral Service at 206 Trindale Road in Archdale. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Landmark Baptist Church Cemetery, 6055 Sunset View Drive in High Point.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent by check to Randolph County Animal Services, 1370 County Land Road, Randleman, NC 27317.
