Mary Porter Cummings

Mary Porter Cummings, age 74, of West Grove, PA, died Wednesday September 22, 2010 at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harry William Cummings Sr. who died in 1997, and with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. Born in Kennett Square, she was a daughter of the late John L. and Barbara Dougherty Porter. Mary was a Phillies fan, enjoyed bingo, and trips to Jamaica. The most important part of her life was being with her family and friends. Survivors include, three sons, Harry Jr. and his wife Sarah of Newark DE, Michael of Newark DE, and Barry of West Grove, one daughter Diane Davis of West Chester , one sister Suzanne Bonsall of Elkton MD, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her brother John L. Porter III. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 11AM on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home (610-869-2685) 200 Rose Hill Rd. West Grove, PA 19390. Family and friends may visit with the family from 10-11AM before the service. Interment will be held privately.
