Ever since I married into this wonderful clan, I've been welcomed so warmly by each and every one. Elinor has and will continue to hold a special place in my heart. She was funny, adventurous, I was in awe of her athletic talents ...no way would I want to try and hit one of her pitches! She helped me navigate through insurance problems when my husband was sick. She would give you an honest answer if you wanted one. Love you Elinor!

Kathy DeCoopman

My big sister, Mary "Elinor" DeCoopman, lead a very interesting life. She had sooo many friends that had the same interests enjoying parties in her pool with workmates and family, traveling, golfing, bowling, and in her earlier years LOVED softball. I only regret that when I moved to Florida, she didn't travel so much; however, we enjoyed good times by phone, getting together with the Family Reunions, weddings & other special events in Michigan each summer. Some of the best memories and most precious gatherings were when the "sisters" enjoyed a meal together (sometimes we let the guys join in!) With love and special memories. I know you are now no longer struggling! Can't forget her little dog "PI" that passed a few years back was a great comfort for her! At Peace, my sister! .. With love, Kathy
